On May 4, 2026, ICU signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Faculty of Agriculture at the Lebanese University, launching a strategic collaboration in the fields of education, research, and sustainable development.
The agreement was signed by ICU’s legal representative in Lebanon, Jose Antonio Naya Villaverde, and the Dean of the Faculty, Nadine Nassif.
This partnership aims to strengthen the link between academic knowledge and practical application, creating concrete opportunities for students and contributing to local development.
Through this agreement, the parties will promote:
- practical training activities, workshops, and field-based initiatives for students
- collaboration in scientific research
- joint projects in sustainable agriculture and community development
The MoU seeks to enhance students’ capacities, foster innovation, and respond effectively to the needs of local communities.
The signing was preceded by a coordination meeting involving ICU’s team, the Dean, department heads, and faculty members, where key areas of mutual interest and future collaboration were identified.
