We are pleased to announce you that our project EVE (Efficacité et Valorisation des Eaux d’irrigation à travers des actions pilotes en Sicile et Tunisie) and PROSIM (Promoting Sustainable Irrigation Management and non-conventional water use in the Mediterranean) have been named winners of the 23rd edition of the Energy Globe Award 2022.
The Energy Globe Award, World Award for Sustainability, is organized by the independent Energy Globe Foundation from Austria.
The Energy Globe Award is presented in the categories of Life: Earth, Fire, Water, Air, the future-oriented category Youth and a yearly special category. In total, participants from more than 180 nations around the world participated.
The aim of the award is the presentation of innovative and sustainable projects to a broad audience in order to spread best practices and efficient and sustainable solutions to current environmental problems.
We have been awarded in the category of water thanks to the great work we are doing with our partners throughout the Mediterranean to fight water scarcity by introducing 9 innovative solutions.
