03/02/2016 Yesterday, February 2, about 70 people participated in the conference held in Nabeul to present the ICU project “Municipality of Nabeul: renewable solutions for basic public services” co-financed by the European Union under the regional project SUDEP.
Attended the event the Attaché de coopération of the EU Delegation in Tunis, M. Corrado, the Mayor of the Municipality of Nabeul, M. Iourimi, the National Focal Point of the SUDEP project, M. Hanchi, the team leader of the Support Mechanism of SUDEP, M. Hammami. Journalists, representatives of other communities around the Governorate of Nabeul, ONAS – The National Sanitation Utility, dell’ANME – National Agency for Energy Management and STEG – Tunisian Company of Electricity and Gas also attended the event as project partners.
In the framework of the project, two solar photovoltaic plants will be installed in Nabeul to supply approximately 347MWh per year for public lighting, the Municipality building and the waste waters treatment station of the ONAS in Nabeul.
