Workshop on food processing
The aim of the action is to improve the performance of selected agro-enterprises enabling them to enhance their competitiveness and to integrate into the global market, and support the rural communities in the realization of a variety of important auxiliary income-generating activities thereby strengthening their household economy.
In particular the project aims to improve and expand Lebanese agriculture productivity, agribusiness investment, agribusiness trade and to empower women in the food processing sector.
The project adopted three lines of interventions; the provision of food processing equipment; the support to rebuilding renovations and civil work; the capacity building development.
