Olives growers of South Lebanon
Overview:
1) To contribute to the rural development of Lebanon providing the farmers with training and technical assistance.
Activities:
– 18 training courses on the technologies for harvesting, processing and preserving olives and by products in the cazas of Nabatiyeh, Marjeoun e Hasbaya
– 22 training courses for the improvement of the olive oil quality and for the reduction of its cost in the Chouf Region
– Technical assistance for the rehabilitation of 4 cooperatives in the Chouf Region
– Technical guide on the processing olive practices realised.
Results:
All the activities have been delayed because of the conflict.
