Successfully ended the monitoring mission of ICU in El Salvador

Tamarindo Village – Tilapia production

El Salvador, 17 April 2018. The monitoring mission of ICU in El Salvador ended in April. During the monitoring the population showed new productions explaining the current use and organization. The community’s inhabitants especially appreciated the medical-health part because, given the distance from the larger population centers, access to medical care is very limited.

The project “Improvement of food security for the inhabitants of Caserio El Tamarindo”, funded by 8×1000, successfully ended in December, aimed to alleviate malnutrition in the community of Tamarindo, a rural community in the Santa Ana area consisting of 350 inhabitants dedicated to the cultivation of corn and sorghum.
