Tunis, 16th – 17th March 2022.
On March 16th and 17th 2022, the second edition of the Salon International des Activites et Technologies Autour de l’Eau – WATER EXPO was held at the headquarters of the Union Tunisienne de l’Industrie, du Commerce et de l’Artisanat – UTICA in Tunis.
The Expo was a unique opportunity to bring together the public and private sectors around water issues, to expose the various projects, experiences and technologies in the sector, in particular taking into account the different climate changes and their impact on national and international water resources.
ICU attended the event with a stand dedicated to its water projects implemented in Tunisia. There were present: EVE project – Efficiency and Valorization of irrigation watEr through pilot actions in Sicily and Tunisia; PROSIM project – Promoting Sustainable Irrigation Management and non-conventional water use in the Mediterranean; WISPER project – Water-efficient Innovative Solutions Portfolio for Enhancing Resilience and SEARCHeD project – Strengthening Employment and entrepreneurial Activities to Recover COVID-19 Epidemic Damages. In addition, during the second day of the expo, a presentation of the EVE project was held as part of the scientific program, thanks to the intervention of the Société de Gestion de la Technopole de Borj Cedria, the local project partner.
