MONITORING MISSIONS FOR PROAGRO BENEFICIARIES

In the framework of the project «ProAgro – Support to the development of sustainable agri-food micro-enterprises and creation of employment opportunities in disadvantaged areas of Tunisia», ICU carried out six monitoring missions for the project beneficiaries during the months of December 2021, January and February 2022. The ICU technical staff, composed by the agricultural engineers, visited the targeted locations: the governorates of Beja, El Kef, Kasserine, Kebili, Mahdia and Sidi Bouzid, to meet some of the beneficiaries of the 411 agri-food micro-enterprises selected in November 2020.

During the visits the beneficiaries got to know ICU staff, presented their agri-food micro-enterprises, the impact that ProAgro is having on the progress of their activities and their future prospects. The visits were a great opportunity to exchange ideas and for mutual acquaintance and understanding. ICU’s staff is very thankful to the beneficiaries for their warm welcome and hospitality.
