Overview:
The project aims at improving the living conditions of disadvantaged women and, at the same time, at answering to the shortage of skilled workers in the field of healthcare services. The purpose of the project is to provide disadvantaged women with a quality training in nursing techniques in order to give them the opportunity to enter the labour and social world and to properly satisfy the needs of Chile’s population and institutions.
Activities:
– Starting up of training courses in nursing techniques
– Providing the necessary educational materials
– Implementation of well-equipped laboratories
– Provision of subsidies both to students and teachers
Results:
– 48 persons trained in nursing services
– The necessary educational materials provided
– Well-equipped laboratories implemented
– Subsidies granted both to students and teachers.
